Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain a pipeline full of sales.
  • Manage sale managers or sale persons and establish effective sale onboarding and training program.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and partner with them to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends and work closely with marketing and product team.
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities and strategic direction in target markets.
  • Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events.


Requirements and skills

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • A deep understanding of the market services/products (education segment preferred).
  • Expert level interpersonal skills and be able to mentor and coach people.
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
  • Good team planning and organizational skills
  • Having an ability to accurately forecast sales and analyze the data.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong Excel/Google Spreadsheet skills and experience with Sale CRM and forecasting tool.
