Job Description
Departmental Responsibilities:
- Lead and Participate in gathering and documenting requirements from the business stakeholder(s).
- Design and support systems created within the Microsoft Power Platform environment and related technologies.
- Provide guidance to university departments on the no-code and low code solutions available to them.
- Research, design, and develop prototypes using low code technologies to demonstrate solution capabilities.
- Research, analyze and evaluate current technical trends, emerging technologies and standards, new software functionality
- Perform general system administrator and application administration tasks.
General Responsibilities:
- Provides experienced analysis and programming related to the design, development, and support of systems.
- Consults with stakeholder(s) to define system requirements, problems, and proposals; conducts detailed studies, presents detailed requirements/designs to the stakeholder(s), and obtains agreement and approval for proposed updates/changes.
- Prepares conversion and systems implementation plans and schedules; translates system design to detailed program specifications.
- Documents systems analysis and programming efforts (changes, new functionality, issue/problem resolution); performs system unit and integration testing and presents final test results to stakeholder(s) and/or leadership.
- Researches and stays up-to-date with new standards, tools, and emerging technology and services and makes recommendations for possible short-term, mid-term or long-term integration.
- Ensures that all protocols used in the design and programming of systems are up to date and compliant with university policies and standards.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- 2 years of systems programming/analysis or system administration experience

- Design, develop and maintain Mobile-Technologies products using low code platforms: flow management for both User Interfaces and backend transaction processing.
- Customize Mobile-Technologies products for our customers and work on change requests.
- Be passionate about technology & quality deliverables and be an advocate for best practices in software development
To join our crew, following points will be considered (all is NOT required):
- Junior Level preferred (Open to new Graduates), but all levels considered.
- Experience with low code platform and flow development: Apache NiFi preferred.
- Experience with XML / JSON
- Be competent with database concepts and SQL. Experience with PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of REST web services and other systems integration protocols (HTTP, SFTP, etc.)
- Be attentive to details and re-usability concept
- Be a team player, not afraid to communicate clearly on issues and progress
- Good communication skills in English
