Product Manager (Platform)

klongsan, Thailand (Hybrid)

Role Overview

As a Platform Product Manager, you will be the architect of our core product ecosystem. Unlike a consumer PM, your "customers" are often internal developers, partners, and the long-term scalability of the business. You will lead the strategy for our backend systems, APIs, and shared services to ensure our product remains robust, flexible, and ready for rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for our core platform capabilities (e.g., identity, payments, data infrastructure, or internal tools).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Data, and DevOps teams to translate complex technical requirements into scalable product features.
  • API & Integration: Own the lifecycle of our APIs and third-party integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity for internal and external users.
  • Performance & Reliability: Monitor platform health and prioritize technical debt alongside new feature development to ensure 99.9% uptime and low latency.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use SQL and analytics to identify bottlenecks in the platform and validate the impact of infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2+ years of dedicated experience as a Platform Product Manager or Technical Product Manager.
  • Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of system architecture, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to manage a product backlog that balances "invisible" technical upgrades with visible business value.
  • Agile Mindset: Expert-level knowledge of Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Communication: Fluent in Thai and English. You must be able to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Bonus Points (The "Nice-to-Haves")

We would be especially excited to meet you if you have experience in:
  • EdTech: Building learning management systems (LMS) or educational content delivery tools.
  • HR Tech / Job Platforms: Developing recruitment workflows, applicant tracking systems (ATS), or job matching algorithms.
  • Marketplace Dynamics: Understanding how to scale platforms that connect two sides of a market (e.g., candidates and employers).
