Define test scope, test design and test management
Execute test cases and identify and track defects with clear steps
Provide guidance and assistance to Automated test, SIT, and UAT teams regarding integration functionality & technology
Maintain and refresh Automation tool stacks related to automated test
Work to ensure that the API Products are working properly regardless of which environments they are deployed on
Ensure proper end-to-end testing methods and approaches are discussed and agreed with all impacted channels and systems and aligns with the Business initiatives
Work with business and IT stakeholders, users, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
3+ Years of experience in API manual and automation testing
Strong automated API/Microservices, Regression and Performance testing experience using Postman, Newman and Jmeter
Experience in CodeceptJS or Cypress is a plus
Experience in web application testing is a plus
Exposure to new tools and technologies like Cucumber, Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright
Strong experience in performing root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis with developers
Experience in regression testing suite by updating test cases to include newly added functionality
Experience and knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Collaborate the activities of development, quality assurance, and support teams and ensure adherence to standards and continuous improvement
Identify the impact to business from testing point of view
